Dear Family and Friends,

Have you ever let the truth sink deep into your heart that……The Creator God of the Universe is a PERSONAL GOD ? Psalm 139: 2 says that God knows our downsitting and uprising and understands our thoughts…In our human minds it is hard to imagine a powerful God who runs the universe taking time to think about my insignificant thoughts….But He is PERSONAL. Luke 22: 32 Jesus says to Peter, “But I have prayed for THEE that thy faith fail not..” Though our minds cannot seem to grasp this possibility, Jesus prays for you as an individual. He is PERSONAL. This truth makes all the difference—if we believe it, acting on it means that we truly will cast all of our cares upon the Lord for we know that HE CARES for us. This results in an unspeakable peace and a closer walk with the Lord.

Brooklyn, NY---God showed Himself strong in many ways this week…We wondered if we would actually be able to pass out many fliers because the week had mistakenly been scheduled during spring break! But God did not make any mistakes. The week was perfect timing because the parks would be full of kids playing basketball since school was out….But the weather would need to be warm and dry for this to happen so God showed himself strong in giving us a beautiful week in spite of the forecasts for rain! We really enjoyed visiting nearly 90 parks throughout the week and seeing God bring us Divine appointments..On Saturday we had the 3^rd largest US tournament with 35 teams! It was both a joy and a challenge to preach to the crowd of those that were ready to hear and those that were against the name of Jesus because of their religion. Praise the Lord for over 30 that responded to make a decision of salvation that day!

Radford, VA---The best thing about this week came BEFORE the tournament on Saturday. Our 5 year old Logan had been asking a lot of questions and we knew he had come to an understanding of his need for Christ to save him…On Friday he wanted to speak to me and so it was wonderful to be able to take him to a quiet place and lead him to the Lord. His burden for the lost is seen now as he likes to carry tracts to let people know of the Jesus who saved him. We praise the Lord for the 14 teams that came on Saturday and the 14 that trusted Christ! One of the guys was ...... we have seen at a tournament but his heart was soft as He asked Jesus to forgive his awful past.

Marshalltown, IA--- We were excited to see God open up a door in a local public school that had not been opened before…On Saturday, the Lord brought out 11 teams. About an hour into the tournament, we all heard a loud crash and looked up to find out that after a big-time dunk, the backboard had shattered! This was a first for us, but the men of the church acted quickly to get one of our units fixed up in the gym and we continued on! Of the 7 or 8 that were saved, one was from ...... wrote on his decision card..” I want to get rid of all of the sins inside of me” Praise the Lord for the blood of Jesus that washes us clean.

Please continue to pray! Our last tournaments of the semester are in Downers Grove, IL, Ann Arbor, MI, Bedford, VA, and Berryville, VA.
